Thanks for all your visits to my blog in 2008, and here’s to more
in 09. I am glad you are no longer a perfectionist or editor (I find myself editing TV commercials!) or computer geek. Can you help me rid myself of those annoying traits, then?!

Thanx for dropping in, Heather. I haven’t stopped myself editing even other people’s sentences as they speak to me! but i am no longer ‘officially’ an editor (it was a voluntary position, and my favourite past job). My only recommendation for shedding geekdom would be to have too many dozen other things to do and too few minutes to get distracted… works for a while anyway. ;0)

You redecorated!! Something though says a bit of your personality is now missing. Hmmmm… I will ponder on it. I do sympathise though, Mand. I’m one of these who loves to move the furniture around endlessly. There are plenty of times when I wish that there were a real coffee shop (or tea!) where we could sit and gab. Somehow I think we’d have lots to talk endlessly about.

Dave, i occasionally come out with a haiku; it's about something striking me suddenly. Sometimes they take as long to revise as anything else, funnily. I have a couple of haiku books, but a friend (Kris Kondo) *really* knows haiku, and the how-to can be mystifying - the 17-syllable rule everyone knows is the one that is NOT required, etc.

Hey Mand,

Just wondering, have you written alot of Haiku? I haven’t and I was going to start working on that form. I’ve read some of the masters in that art. Any thoughts? For me, writing Haiku requires a different type of focus – almost a ‘meditation’ on the environ.

I’d like to hear your thoughts.

Thanx Caffe Mpath – The Library Thing looks good and i am about to add it to my blogroll as it will appeal to people that my blog appeals to. However i daren’t get involved there, as i already spend far too much time on the internet. I catalogue my books with Book Collector – which reminds me, i’ll link to collectorz.com too – though i’m not geeky (nor possessed of enough leisure!) to catalogue them all, only the ones i intend selling.

As for Rhys… hm. I do like his face in a non-handsome way ;0) and he definitely radiates energy.

Hi Mand ~ thanks so much for visiting my blog. I love company, so drop in anytime! And thanks too for your insights on the Doctor. Do you think Rhys would look good as a ginger? I think I’m so smitten with that mega-watt smile of David Tennant’s that I’m looking for that same facial energy. Do you think maybe Davies or Moffat will reconsider?
